I'm loving crystal necklaces and rings at the moment. Got myself a cool amethyst necklace but I'm wanting to head out to Crystal Mountain sometime so I can get some rocks and make little necklaces in addition to the beaded bracelets I've been making. Stay tuned!x

Roger Sanchez

Wahooo! Exam over. Roger Sanchez tomorrow! Been a bit slack with posts lately but been super busy with work! Sooo glad my exam is over too - such a huge weight lifted!! One more month of freedom until my last semester at uni starts!! Hopefully tomorrow will be sunny, it's been raining the past couple days - damn Auckland weather! Anyway, have a good weekend everybody!x

Monday blues.

Today was the first Monday in about 3 years that I have been at work. It wasn't bad, but a bit quiet. It didn't help that the weather was so bipolar either! Where has Summer gone hmmm? Hopefully it's sunny this weekend. Going to see Roger Sanchez wahooo! Excite. I actuallly just can't wait until Wednesday, so I will finally be able to relax over the next month without worrying about assignments, get to sew and make more bracelets so I'll finally get to post on garments and other creations which is what this blog was actually intended for!x

I am desserts backwards.

OR, in my case, a bracelet at the wall, causing it to break. Argh. Evidently, today's post will be a short one. Basically I am stressing the freak out about my exam on Wednesday. Can't focus. I am sooo envious of people who do are not uni students. They do not have any exams to stress over. Arghhh cannot wait until Wednesday 5pm. I keep procrastinating which is NOT good. Here's a little note I read today:

The Help.

I'm meant to be studying slash sleeping but thought I'd quickly post on an amazing book I read recently. It's called The Help, by Kathryn Stockett. Once again, my sister recommended it. I was bored, she shoved the book in my hand. Selected as the 2010 Indies Choice Book of the Year – Adult Debut and as the 2010 Southern Independent Booksellers Association's Book of the Year for Fiction, The Help is such a good book and easy to read. Check it out - I couldn't put it down!x

Sew on.

I finally got an overlocker! Wahoo. Can't wait to get my sew on. After my exam, which is next Wed (eeek), I'll have a whole month to sew. So many ideas. Motivation is rising. This will be good. Fingers crossed.x

Note to self:

Instead, sew, study, save, exercise an hour a day. Lose 5 kgs. Easy.x

Tiffany and Co. 21st

Let's start from the beginning shall we? ...

Firstly, I was about half an hour late to my own party and a couple of my friends had already arrived!! I was running around stressing the F out! Needed to relax, had a drink and instantly felt better. All in all, I had an amazing time! I managed to do my 21 shots and surprisingly, didn't get sick at all! This morning however, my body was paying for last night :( Well worth it though! Thanks to everybody who came and all the lovely presents and messages in my guest book. You guys made my night awesome!x

Week of the dead.

The above picture totally depicts my week this week. So lately in the holidays I’ve been sleeping in til mid afternoon and then relaxing for the rest of the day. Today, however, I had no choice and had to wake up at 7pm (that is early for me!) to get ready for Summer School. Argh. Then spent a whole day inside from 8.30-4pm listening to the lecturer drone on and on. Yawn. Tomorrow will be the same but better because it will be the last day of Summer School :) Wednesday, I start work, Thursday I have off to do some last minute birthday errands and Friday is the day!!! So excited, wahoo party time!!!!x
